BRAZILIAN JIU-JITSU ACADEMY OF WINDSOR BRINGS HOME GOLD
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Academy of Windsor traveled to the U.S. to compete in the 2nd Annual Michigan Open BJJ Tournament. Upon their return, the Academy proudly brought home nine medals. Four medals were for 1st place and the remaining medals were for 2nd place. Also the Academy received an award for the great performance by the kids team. Congratulations to all and a special thank you goes out for the great support shown by fellow students, family and friends.
 
CLASS OVERVIEW
Everything possible has been done to assure your comfort and advancement at our Academy. Classes are not over crowded, giving you the individual attention needed to excel. The techniques are explained, executed and drilled in great detail, leaving no doubt of their effectiveness. Techniques you learn in class are recorded and can be viewed on the website. You will receive official rank as a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu practitioner. There will be seminars held at the Academy on a regular basis by Master Caique.

Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is a complete martial art. You will learn how to defend yourself against larger opponents, multiple attackers and weapons. On the street there are no rules, you must be prepared for everything. In the adult program you will learn self-defense techniques, takedowns, ground positioning, escapes, submissions, striking, defense against strikes and weapon defense. Program also focuses on safety and avoiding violent situations. Classes are held in a safe and friendly environment, utilizing team work to help one another become our best.
MIXED MARTIAL ART PROGRAM
MIXED MARTIAL ARTS TRAINING AVAILABLE FOR STUDENTS AT THE RANK OF BLUE BELT OR HIGHER.
Our MMA program is a extension of our Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu program. Your training will focus on your specific needs that will allow you to be successful and stay safe in a full contact combat sport against other trained fighter. If you are a grappler or a striker, you will learn how to keep the fight in your area of specialty and reduce your opponents effectiveness when pulled out of your game.
When it comes to the ground, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is second to none. Studying the art will give you a huge advantage in Mixed Martial Art competitions.
